Summer Update

Hello! Time for a long overdue update!! Please excuse our absence as our days have been jam packed with summer fun! We have been spending lots of time with friends and doing things around our neighbourhood. Julia is at the perfect age for going to the park. I have never known our local parks so well.
As I type this is what Luka is up to:

Lately Julia has been falling asleep listening to stories on her digital music box. The batteries finally died and needed to be replaced . Here is a photo of Julia in her "monkey jammies" as she "fixes" the music box. Note the little screwdrivers all over the place.

Over the past few days we have started to put Luka in the Bumbo chair. He is able to sit in it for a few minutes but then gets tired. His core strength is still a work in progress.

We've been visiting our local wading pools on hot and sunny days. Here's a picture of Julia after a swim.

I actually forget where this picture was taken but once again the little green chair is in use.

And finally we have Julia out on our deck wearing the pig onesie that Meghan gave us before Julia was born. You can really see her dimple in this picture!

We took a bunch of pictures at the Zoo yesterday and I'll give them their very own post. I'm going to make a homemade frappucino now. It's a hot and sunny day!!
